If collection activity proceeds as far as Legal action and Judgment then the default will be listed with a credit reporting bureau. The more information that you can provide about your customer and the debt the more timely and effective the recovery can be. As a minimum we would need a names, addresses , phone numbers and email addresses. A Invoice/statement of debt is also good for us to have on file.

The sooner you list a debt for recovery action the better. In most instances, we believe, if a Debtor hasn’t contacted you within your standard terms of trade whether it be 14 days or 30 days then they probably wont.
